Celebrating Earth Day’s 54th Anniversary!
The first Earth Day took place on April 22, 1970, and brought together millions of Americans from all walks of life to create the modern environmental movement. Since then, Earth Day has evolved into the largest civic event on Earth, bringing together billions of people across 192 countries!
After 54 years, trash continues to be a social epidemic. Join in and be part of the solution here in Marin by playing an active role in improving your community and protecting our waterways!
For those of you that won’t be available to join in on one of the organized activities, make every day Earth Day by picking up litter on your walk around the neighborhood or community!
