Action Team Updates

-10-20 – Our Outreach, Education, and Marketing Team has begun working with MCSTOPPP on a countywide trash reduction ad campaign that will launch later this year…stay tuned! Update: While Covid-19 has delayed this project, we’re continuing to make progress and MCSTOPPP is still planning for a late 2020 ad campaign launch date.

-14-20 – The Source Control Action Team has been working hard in support of the County of Marin Reusable Foodware Ordinance and the draft ordinace has been released! Update: Due to Covid-19 the public meeting for adoption scheduled for March 19, 2020, has been postponed to late 2020.

-15-20 – Due to Covid-19 organized Volunteer Programs Action Team group events have been cancelled until further notice. If you are continuing to conduct cleanup activities in your neighborhood, please maintain social distancing recommendations, wear the appropriate personal protection, and bag all trash (especially discarded gloves and masks) in closeable plastic bags. When possible, use a litter grabber instead of your gloved hands!

-8-20 – Our Clean Highways Action Team has received word from Caltrans that cleanups at Adopt a Highway spots in Marin can resume on June 15, 2020.
