Earth Day Events

Celebrating Earth Day’s 50th Anniversary together in spirit!

For Earth Day this year we appreciate your continued efforts to come together as a community by staying home! Please continue doing your part to stop the spread of Covid-19. The sooner we can beat this viral pandemic, the sooner we can get back to tackling the social epidemic of trash!

We strongly recommend suspending all volunteer litter pickup efforts during the shutdown. For those die hard trash warriors that may continue to pick up litter on your walk around the neighborhood, please take these extra precautions!

  • Wear a mask and disposable gloves
  • Use a litter grabber if possible
  • Treat all trash items, especially discarded disposable gloves and masks as being contaminated
  • Place all items in a closable garbage bag
  • Tie the bag closed and throw it away in a closed trash can
  • Remove disposable gloves and throw in closed trash can
  • Wash your hands immediately after removing gloves and wash the clothes you were wearing
Stay safe by staying in place, maintaining social distancing, and covering your face!

We were gearing up for Earth Day 2020…

Below are the projects we had lined up for 2020 before Covid-19 hit. The dates and times will change, but these projects are a sneak peak of where we’re now headed for Earth Day 2021 (and hopefully Coastal Cleanup Day on September 26th)! You can zoom in and out to see all of the projects and click for details.

Have an event that’s not on our map yet? Contact us with the details so we can add it.
